Frank Hardy couldn't believe his eyes when he looked out on a Providence street after the weekend's big snowstorm and saw a "giant lizard" in the road.
The reptile, a tegu, had frostbite and showed signs of weakness from exposure in this week’s cold weather. It was unclear where it came from.
"Recovery will take time, patience and a lot of support, but Frankie is showing us just how strong she can be," a Facebook post by ET Reptiles read.
