Hockey fans in Quebec City are excited to see the Ottawa Senators play pre-season games there in September and repeated their wishes for an NHL team of their own.

It was supposed to be a relatively quiet start to the week for the Ottawa Senators, and they had certainly earned it. The Senators are in third place in the Atlantic Division and finally had a day off after playing 10 games in 16 days.

The Montreal Canadiens will face the Ottawa Senators in an NHL preseason game Sept. 30 before the 2025-26 campaign. Ottawa will also face New Jersey on Sept. 28

The Ottawa Senators announced Monday that they will have part of their training camp in Quebec City and play two games there against the New Jersey Devils on Sept. 28 and the Montreal Canadiens on Sept.

The Senators will play two preseason games this fall at Quebec City's Videotron Centre, a rink built to attract an NHL franchise someday.
