Mangione, 26, faces murder and terror charges over the death of Brian Thompson, who was the CEO of UnitedHealthcare. Thompson, a father of two, was gunned down outside a Manhattan hotel in December.

Luigi Mangione, the 26-year-old accused of killing UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson on a busy Manhattan sidewalk, will appear in court on Friday in New York City.

Yesterday, President Donald Trump ordered an end to New York City's congestion toll, which charges most drivers $9 to enter Manhattan below 60th Street. The toll not only helped thin out New York's infamous congestion but also helped fund public transit as bus and train ridership grew.
