Virginia Ann “Jenny” Powell Mays Vestal of Hayesville, N.C., passed away Wednesday, Nov. 12, 2025 at the age of 66. She was born in Halifax County, Nov. 20, 1958 to the late Herbert Lester Powell Sr.
