WWE is touting a successful Royal Rumble after setting an all-time viewership record for the event. According to stats from the company, the event was up nearly 16% domestically on Peacock and “even higher” globally on Netflix compared to last year.

The Royal Rumble didn’t disappoint. WWE said the premium event set multiple records for gate, viewership, merchandise sales and more. Lucas Oil Stadium hosted the 2025 Royal Rumble, with 70,342 fans in attendance—an all-time record for the event and the third-largest attendance figure behind WrestleMania 40’s Saturday and Sunday sessions.
