Weather Alert Friday: wintry mix of freezing rain/sleet/snow across Central Alabama will cause travel issues
Travel is not recommended on Friday! Power issues are possible due to the freezing rain/sleet in the morning. High temperatures will warm just above freezing into the middle 30s by the afternoon changing the precipitation to a cold rain. This will help to melt the ice, sleet, and snow.
