Cam York and the Philadelphia Flyers have agreed to terms on a five-year contract worth $25.75 million, according to a person with knowledge of the deal. The person spoke to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity because the agreement has not been announced.

Cam York has been one of the Flyers’ top defensemen for a couple years and now he’s getting paid like one. The 24-year-old York was signed to a new five-year, $25.75-million contract on Monday with an average annual value (AAV) of $5.15 million. General Manager Daniel Briere made the announcement.
