It was the same day Trump held a multimillion-dollar parade for the Army's 250th anniversary celebration, which was also the president's birthday and Flag Day. Chants from protesters filled the air and so did their colorful signs calling out policies they believe don't represent America's democracy.

The No Kings protest in Valparaiso was part of roughly 2,500 similar demonstrations against the Trump administration planned across the country and globe.
