The National Weather Service says the Flood Watch will remain in effect until 9 p.m. Additional quick rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible within heavy downpours with isolated amounts of 3 to 5 inches possible.
The flood warning is in effect until Tuesday, July 15, at 7 a.m. for the Frio River. NWS said that major flooding is forecast for the Frio River below Dry Frio, with the National Water Prediction Service predicting the river will hit 18.6 feet at around 5 p.m. The major flood stage for the Frio River is 17 feet.
At 12:39 a.m. on Monday, the National Weather Service released a flood watch valid from 2 p.m. until Tuesday 2 a.m. for Carbon and Monroe counties.
