Emmanuel Haro was reported missing on Thursday after someone attacked his mother outside of a Big 5 Sporting Goods store in the 34500 block of Yucaipa Boulevard, according to the family. Mother Rebecca Haro said she was changing her baby's diaper when someone punched her. When she came to, she ran into the sporting goods store and called 911.

The desperate search continues for Emmanuel Haro, a missing 7-month-old in Southern California, after authorities said his mother is no longer cooperating.

"It just felt a little off-putting and performative," she says of an interview with the missing boy's father.

“Something is not right in this whole picture,” Daniel Chapin, founder of the Uvalde Foundation, said in a statement sent to SFGATE.

Heather Walker, a Yucaipa, California, resident, joins "Elizabeth Vargas Reports" to discuss her attendance at a vigil for Emmanuel Haro, a 7-month-old who went missing late last week.

Authorities told Fox News Digital that the child’s parents have not been fully cooperative and that they "refused to continue talking to investigators."
