The Devils could land Bruins captain Brad Marchand at the NHL trade deadline, but it'd cost them one of their top prospects.

The Boston Bruins pulled the curtain closed on the Original Six franchise's most successful era since Bobby Orr hung two Stanley Cup banners in the old Garden. The Bruins sent captain Brad Marchand, the last remaining member of their 2011 NHL championship team,

Marchand wanted to play his entire career in Boston. His leadership and the team’s culture was something new Bruins always said they had admired from afar and made them want to be part of the organization. That doesn’t mean the Bruins should have caved to any demand Marchand made, but trading him will be noticed.
