North Texas country singer Pat Green is playing a livestreamed concert at Globe Life Field on Wednesday to help flood victims. Green's younger brother John, John's wife Julia, and their two sons lost their lives in the devastating floods. On Monday at 8:28 a.m. the NWS Fort Worth TX issued a flood warning in effect until 10:15 a.m. The warning is for Johnson, Bosque, Hamilton, Hill and Somervell counties.

FRISCO, Texas — A North Texas resident recently won a $2 million Powerball drawing prize. A Frisco resident claimed the prize for the July 9 drawing, according to Texas Lottery. The prize-winning ticket was bought at Walmart Supercenter store at 8555 Preston Road in Frisco. The winner chose to remain anonymous.
