Texas Gov. Greg Abbott said search and rescue efforts continue after the deadly floods in Central Texas as crews work to remove debris from roads and bridges. The governor said search parties still include many out-of-state volunteers and dog teams.

A flood watch is in effect into July 15 for more than a dozen counties as saturated ground gets drenched again.

INGRAM, Texas — Search and rescue crews from Mexico were forced to halt their operations on the Guadalupe River in Ingram, Texas Monday as rain caused water levels to rise, complicating efforts to find victims of the deadly July 4th floods.

Authorities determined that three people are still missing from the floods, a sharp drop from the approximately 100 people authorities had previously said were unaccounted for.

Additional Ohio Task Force 1 (OH-TF1) members have been activated to respond to Texas following the devastating flooding that hit part of the state.
