An upper-level atmospheric disturbance on Thursday will be crossing through South Texas, resulting in a scattering of downpours from Matagorda Bay to Corpus Christi. Most of Southeast Texas, including in coastal areas, should remain rain-free through late Thursday morning.

Wednesday morning's storms move out of the Houston-area, though some isolated afternoon rain is possible. Temperature highs reach the low 80s.

Isolated to spotty storms are possible tomorrow, then the trend will be toward cooler mornings and less rain each day.
