On Thursday, a man was given a restraining order after approaching Emma Raducanu with ‘fixated behaviour’ before her match in the Dubai Tennis Championships two days earlier.

British tennis star Emma Raducanu was visibly upset as tournament officials in Dubai ejected a spectator showing "fixated behavior" toward her during Tuesday's second-round match against Karolina Muchova.

Dubai Police detained a tourist who had engaged in behaviour that caused Emma Raducanu distress during her match at the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships, the Government of Dubai said on Thursday.

Emma Raducanu was approached in a public space "by a man who exhibited fixated behavior" and the same man was spotted in the first few rows during her match, the WTA said.
