The faithful will be flocking to Rome to honor the death of Pope Francis, with his funeral scheduled for Saturday April 26. While the city is heavily booked out, there are still ways to visit affordably.

Chobani will break ground Tuesday on a $1.2 billion natural foods facility at the Triangle site in the Griffiss Business & Technology Park in Rome, officials are expected to announce Tuesday. The plant, when it reaches full capacity, will produce more than 1 billion pounds of dairy products a year on up to 28 production lines.

Governor Kathy Hochul announced that Chobani will build the largest natural food manufacturing plant in U.S. history in Rome, New York. The $1.2 billion investment will create more than 1,000 full-time jobs and expand the state’s lead in yogurt production.
