Tottenham have agreed a loan deal to sign Joao Palhinha from Bayern Munich with an option to buy for £26m, according to reports. Palhinha only joined Bayern in a £47.4m transfer from Fulham in June 2024 but he’s now set for a return to the Premier League, talkSPORT have reported.

Tottenham are closing in on the loan signing of João Palhinha with the Bayern Munich midfielder set to undergo a medical on Friday,sources have told PA news agency.

Palhinha was Fulham’s player of the season in his debut campaign at Craven Cottage and made 79 appearances in total for the club. Before his move to the Premier League, he had spent the entirety of his senior career in Portugal with Sporting CP and had several loan spells elsewhere.
