It is said that Jesus is God’s son, yet it is also said that Jesus is God. How can one being be both the father and son of iself. And how did God have a human son, or a son that could be seen by humans and interact with humans.

We speak of Scripture being ‘God-breathed’ (2 Timothy 3:16), as being God’s Word. The writers of the Bible often referred back to older books within it as being God’s words - and most importantly, Jesus himself described the Bible in this way.

But with the coming of Jesus, this forced Christians to extend their thinking on just what God was like. In the New Testament, Jesus made it clear that not only was he the son of the Father [John 8:42 & 14:9], but he was also God, right from the beginning [John 1:1-3 & 1:14]. The HS becomes significantly more prominent in the New Testament as well.

And if Jesus made all things and gave me life dosn’t that make him the father in the flesh? or what did the father do. or If the comforter was residing with them will be in them doesn’t that mean that Jesus is in me who is the father, and the same spirit in the prophets in the old testament. It does say Father,son, holy spirit, these 3 are 1.

Jesus proved that he is God when he rose from the dead, and he did many other things that only God can do (for example commanding a storm on the sea to be quiet, Mark 4:35-41). Jesus is absolutely unique in what he said and did. As well as that, he is alive now in heaven, and ruling.

In addition, Jesus teaching about himself and the Holy Spirit [John 14:26; 15:26] demonstrated that God is one God, but three different persons - Father, Son and Holy Spirit [c.f. Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14]. This concept of “one God in three persons” or Trinity, was a great difficulty for the early church.

Jesus says all of heaven rejoices when even one person turns back to God (Luke 15:1-10) Repentance is hard work, though and you will need help. Keep praying that God will forgive you for your sins - not just the sins of the past but as you find yourself sinning each day. Keep asking God to change you to become more like Jesus every day.

The central claim of Christianity is that God has come into the world so that we can be certain of who he is. The life of Jesus Christ offers a unique, public signpost to God. He is the intersection between our world and God's. By looking at his life "his teachings, healings, death and rising to life" we can discover who God is and what he is like.

Does God continue to forgive you if you keep sinning in the same way? Hi I just wanted to know , does God forgive you if you keep making the same mistake in a particular area of your life . You want to stop and change but you just keep failing , if though my heart is in the write place but my actions are doing another when it comes to the crunch.

Jesus died to save everyone from sin - those who came after him and those who came before. We have heard about God’s promise to save us on the Day of Judgement by Jesus’ death, and we are trusting that he will.
