I like to video cabins that I’ve never stayed in before. Two weeks ago was Hamlin 2. Hamlin 2 & 1 sit on too of a small hill overlooking the newer Diehl facility building. Separated from the rest of Hamlin Trail, it is buffered even more by Hamlin 3, a two-room which is an emergency hold cabin. Here’s the progress on the refurbished Ryan Cabins. The interiors have been corn-blasted and are looking fantastic! The fireplaces have been upgraded to inserts with glass doors and new stainless steel chimneys. Number 9, once condemned, will be up and running for the 2018 camping season.
