Rick Muston is a Marine veteran who fought in the Second Battle of Fallujah. As a lance corporal in Company C, 1st Battalion, 8th Marine Regiment, Muston knew a deployment to Iraq was approaching but was clueless about the impending battle. He was initially disheartened by a lack of the intense combat for which he trained. It was when they were told about the extensive operation that reality set in.
