Heavy rain caused flooding across Wales on Sunday. Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service said a collapsed culvert sent floodwaters into several properties – including the basement of a hotel – in the Belle Vue Terrace area of Llanwrtyd Wells, Powys at 20:04 GST. In north Wales fire crews were called to Fford Dewi in Oakenholt, Flintshire, at about 17:30 after several residents of a housing estate were affected by flooding.
