Hello Friends, this is Janet Lennon. We knew when we had a chance to have our own television show that we wanted to invite JoAnn Castle to be one of our guests. JoAnn joined the Lawrence Welk Show in 1959. She was just 19 years old (the same age as DeeDee). We literally grew up together at the ABC Studios. JoAnn was called the “Queen of Ragtime and Honky Tonk”. She could “tickle those ivories” like no other…. Ragtime, Honky Tonk and even Classical. And what a Showman! We would go out on the road
