This was one of the first artworks I created after my maternity leave a couple moths ago. I was experimenting with marks and thinking how every choice we make is like a mark on the picture of our lives. Without a clear vision the image takes shape on its own, guided by chance. But when you hold a vision and place each mark with care your life, like an ink drawing, you have the power to create the picture you want.
