What is the carp eating? | Underfishing

Carp are choking our rivers. They make up around 90% of the fish biomass in parts of the Murray–Darling. They tear up riverbeds, destroy native habitat, muddy the water and fuel toxic algal blooms. While native fish disappear, carp thrive in dirty, mismanaged systems. If we’re serious about river health, we can’t keep ignoring the biggest pest in the water. Fix water quality. Stop the damage.
