This is special! In the old town of Harar you can find a compound dedicated to Turkey! Turns out this beautiful Turkish-themed building in the streets of Harar, Ethiopia was the first Ottoman Empire embassy built outside of Turkey! It was constructed around 100 years ago due to the growing Turkish presence in the area. Now it functions as a museum where you can discover ancient Arabic books and manuscripts. Interesting find! Harar is full of history, one of my favorite places in Ethiopia! ❤️🇪🇹
