Amhrán na bhFiann today - Cork v Dublin, Croke Park. Cork 7-26 Dublin 2-21 The Irish national anthem is "Amhrán na bhFiann", also known as "The Soldier's Song". It was officially adopted in 1926. The music was composed by Peadar Kearney and Patrick Heeney, with the English lyrics written by Kearney and the Irish translation by Liam Ó Rinn.
