The “tinikling” national dance of the Philippines! This dance requires you to jump over fast clapping bamboo poles. You must jump in time to stop your foot getting trapped! Ouch! As the music gets faster so must your feet! This traditional folk dance mimics “tikling” birds who would dodge and step over bamboo traps left by farmers to protect their fields.
