One year after the Pine Grove Conservation Camp fire crew was deployed to battle the Southern California wildfires, CDCR Secretary Jeff Macomber visited the camp to recognize the impact of their service. During his visit, the Secretary commended the incarcerated firefighters for their hard work, courage, and commitment to rehabilitation.
